On request

I've been asked to blog food. Let's see what I can find.... Ooh, here - sausages from Kayseri! Is that OK? Can't find any candy though...

Copyright: me!

Just a minor point of order tonight. I take the pictures myself. Unless I'm actually seen in them. Like this one...

such a backlog...

... I've been secretly wanting to do this for sooooo long - I can't even decide on what previous highlights to show you... Well, more will come!

Adventstid...?

Well, at home, in Sweden, advent has begun, with the countdown to Christmas. I haven't though. I don't even have an adventsstake - to count the weeks until Christmas eve. But I can show you last year's Christmas tree and decorate the blog a bit that way! (Actually, it will be this year's tree, too. It's plastic!)

So, it's Christmas! ...

Diyarbakir

Just for my sense om completion now... the pictures I wanted to show late last night (did my blog go to sleep early? Maybe blogs do that?).

Complete confusion?

Well, eventually you maybe will start to see a chronology... and updates as things come along happening. But now I just want to show some pictures from previous trips. The last for tonight was to be from Diyarbakir, earlier this week, but now I can't seem to upload more for now.

Future plans include more Turkey, Syria and (hopefully) Iran and Central Asia. Keep a look out! These were just historic titbits to tempt you....

well well - just updating a bit

Some other lovely places I've seen this year. Mardin. And the Bosphorus. And, yes, I live in Turkey. At least for the time being...

My most important day...

... in life so far was (of course!) our wedding day earlier this year! Many have already seen those pictures, but for the sake of it - let's look at some more. (I like showing them! ;-) )

The beginning of a travel chronicle...?

Well, the intention here is to stay in touch with family and friends far away by showing pictures from my life and my travels.

So this picture is from my latest trip, earlier this week, which brought me to these crossroads!

Later on the road, we passed possible one of the most beautiful landscapes I have seen. Lets see if I can't find an image of that also...

Oh, they can both be seen above here. Oops. Well, I'll learn layour as I go on, I guess! ;-)
