Later today, the Swedish government will launch it's 2006 country assessment reports on human rights in the world on this website.
Other relevant information and assessments on the global human rights situation can be found at Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International (in Swedish). A few other countries, most notable among them probably the USA, also launch their own country reports.
