We went to see the mini-exhibition from the Louvre on display at Emirates Palace since May, intended to give a peek at what the coming Louvre Abu Dhabi can offer from 2013. It was a small collection, maybe 20 objects, but exquisitely chosen and collected, to highlight important turning points in the history of art and very professionally displayed and presented.
My absolute favourite was a bodisattva of Gandhara style... that really captures my interests, I think.
